OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION

 

The following are the objectives of the foundation:

 

 

a)      Providing and Promoting Harm Reduction services in health perspectives for services to People Who Use Drugs, Sex Workers and their networks.

 

b)      Providing care and support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs),Most Vulnerable Children (MVC), People Living with HIV (PLWHIV), widows, drug users, sex workers, and girls who drop out from school due to pregnancy.

 

c)       Providing legal support to women, girls and children who face gender based violence and those sexually abused, denied their rights of inheritance, education and any other injustice.

 

d)      Educating prisoners who have been jailed about  health issue and promote health care to prisoners even if they are in jail.

 

e)      Conducting peer education programs to youths, women, religious leaders, and any other targeted beneficiaries who will be served.

 

 

f)       Sensitizing on prevention, treatment, care, support on HIV/AIDS infections from mother to child (PMTCT), sexual partners, youths and any at risk key population like IDUs, sex workers and men who have sex with men (MSM).

 

 

 

g)      Gender sensitization by avoiding inequalities in the societies.

 

       h)      Lobbying and advocacy for policies that are not considering human rights in health perspectives.

 

 

 

 

i)        Providing civic education to the citizen like human rights promotion and community participation in national development.

 

       j)        Support the targeted beneficiaries in income generating activities by providing trainings and loan if available.

       k)      Promoting reproductive health and family planning education to youths, young females and key population.

 

 

l)        Helping the beneficiaries of the program in Income Generative Activities (IGA) by providing training to them and loans if will be available through small enterpreneureship groups in order to improve their economic situations.

 

m)    Having food and nutrition programs to most at risks and vulnurable children, pregnancy mothers and most at risks groups in malnutrition.

       n)      Promoting environmental conservation.

        o) Advocating for policy changes about services and policy that affect the health of key population
